Independence day

Hi all this is Arjun, and this is my first blog.

------------INDEPENDENCE DAY-60th experiences-------


Waking up early in the morning was a bit uncomfort, as today is offical holiday, but then today is the day, i hope all Indians like to see their national flag in air, remembering that i just got up from bed. After completing my daily activities, the hunt for the flag started.As we are new to the place(just 15 days ) we (my freind and myself) thought of asking the shop keepers, where the flag will be hoisted, but then when we stepped on to the road, we found a group of veterans getting prepared for hoisting the flag. We just went near them and stood beside.
I was suprised to see a bunch of young guys who may be just a year less or even more in that sense passed us laughing at us. For a movement i was in an impression are young indians not partriotic, but then i suddenly i rememberd even i am young(now dont say the dialog nuvu young enti raa ani) then what made them to laugh????? i havent understood till now..now its the time for a group of girls dressed up in jeans and t-shirts(i think india did progress well in this) passed us but havent stopped and waited till the flag is in air. well i dont say its mandatory to wait for it..but its our national flag and today we are given a holiday just to keep its pride and remember what our people did for us..and we dont have enough time to respect that??cant we postpone our that busy schedule for just 5 minutes????
well in the mean time, there came a person a very old guy to hoist the flag, he hoisted the flag, we saluted and were singing the national anthem, i saw the family members of the neighbouring buildings were looking weridly at us. what made them to look at us that weird???..okay after hoisting the flag and having the break fast, just wnat to take a look at the news paper. the headline of a newspaper said "60 & getting sexier", i dont get it. Is "sexier" a word apt at this context..i dunno.i am not that gud at english.
well on this great day wanted to do something good, atleast start some thing ,so i am putting forward my idea. i want to start a orpan school, but i really not getting where to start it from..and all those..i just got the idea but nothing else..if any one have any input regarding this please feel free to contact me :arjunnarasimha@gmail.com
